Telegu Superstar Pawan Kalyan Contributes Rs 30 Lakh For Ram Mandir; Says ‘Lord Sri Ram Is The Replica Of Dharma And Tolerance'
Telugu actor and politician Pawan Kalyan said, "it is everyone's responsibility to extend solidarity for the construction of the temple in Ayodhya, the replica of such dharma."
Noted Tollywood star and Jansena Party President Pawan Kalyan has donated Rs. 30 lakh for the construction of Ram Mandir based in Ayodhya. He handed over the money to RSS state chief Sri Bharatji.
The star Pawan Kalyan who is the youngest brother of actor Chiranjeevi and last appeared in the movie ‘Agnyaathavaasi’, said, “Lord Sri Ramachandra is the replica for dharma and tolerance, sacrifice and bravery shown by him is an inspiration to all. India has withstood many attacks because of the path created by lord Sri Rama. Hence, it is everyone’s responsibility to extend solidarity for the construction of the temple in Ayodhya, the replica of such dharma. I am donating rupees 30 Lakh as my part for the construction of Rama temple.”
He also added, “On hearing about my donation, my personal staff members, including not only Hindus but also Muslim and Christians, have raised rupees 11,000 for the same purpose.”
Few days back, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar also contributed a large amount for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and had urged his fans to donate as much as possible for the same. The treasurer of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, set up by the Centre had previously said that the construction of the temple will take an estimated Rs. 1,100 crore and three and a half years to complete.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the star Pawan Kalyan is all set to work on his next project in Tollywood. He is going to be a part of Telugu remake of Bollywood movie ‘Pink’ where Amitabh Bachchan was seen in the main lead. Other than that, he has wrapped up shooting for ‘Vakeel Saab’, directed by Sriram Venu, produced by Dil Raju, and presented by Boney Kapoor.
